Windows 10 has been based around universal apps and features that work across a wide range of devices, now Microsoft is working on a new shell, a shell is software that helps you launch programs and access various features of an operating system, in Windows the default shell is called Windows Explorer, it is the program that shows the taskbar and the desktop when you log in. Microsoft is working on a new shell called 'CShell' that is designed to adapt to Windows Mobile and Windows desktop. The video below, by Windows Central demonstrates features from the desktop start screen being available on Windows Mobile.
This new shell is aimed at bringing a more consistent user interface between Windows Mobile and Windows.
