No More Windows 7 or 8 Updates for PCs With New Processors

Running a PC with an Intel Kaby Lake, AMD Ryzen or other new CPU? That PC may no longer receive updates if it is running Windows 7 or 8. PCs with these processors running Windows 7 or 8 will display a Window explaining that the processor is not compatible with that version of Windows, even though it is simply a software restriction placed by Microsoft, meaning Windows 7 and 8 are compatible with these CPUs as long as you have the appropriate drivers. Users may see this Window:

This change seems to be one made by Microsoft purely to force people on to Windows 10. I think that this is quite an unethical change and quite disrespectful and deceiving to users as Windows 7 extended support ends in 2020, meaning that users with these processors loose extended support years early. Also, it seems that users with these processors also cannot download updates manually as the updates simply fail with an error message. What do you think of this hostile move by Microsoft? Does it affect you?
