How to install Windows 10 for free on Windows 7 or 8
The latest version of Windows, Windows 10 has been released. You can buy it and install it on your computer; however, if you have Windows 7 or 8, you can get it for free!
If you want to get Windows 10 for free, make sure you have Windows 7 or 8 and follow this guide.
Make sure that your computer meets the minimum requirements.
Open Windows Update and check if you have the latest updates.
You may receive a notification stating that you can get Windows 10 for free, if not, look for an icon that looks like this:
4. Click on this icon and follow the on-screen steps.
If you do not see the icon, try clicking the little up arrow
If you still do not see it, check that Windows is up to date and that your hardware and Windows version supports the free upgrade, if that does not work, you can download Windows 10 manualy.
